Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have qualified for the Round of 16 at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Colombia.1 This result, along with a win against Saudi Arabia, was enough for them to advance as one of the best third-placed teams.2

Their qualification sets up a highly anticipated Round of 16 clash against six-time U-20 World Cup champions Argentina.3 The match is a repeat of their previous encounter in the 2023 edition, where the Flying Eagles famously defeated Argentina 2-0.4
