Men’s Ballon d’Or

Paris St-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembélé has won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, being named the best men’s player in the world.

Dembélé beat his closest rival, Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, to claim the prestigious award at a ceremony in Paris. The trophy was presented to him by former Brazil and Barcelona star Ronaldinho.

The win caps a remarkable season for Dembélé, who helped PSG secure a quadruple of trophies: the Champions League, Ligue 1, French Cup, and Trophée des Champions.

Women’s Ballon d’Or

In the women’s category, Spanish legend Aitana Bonmatí won the Women’s Ballon d’Or for a record third consecutive time, cementing her status as the Best Women’s Player of the Year.
