Are People Truly Laughing on the Zagasm App, or Influencers are Just Hyping It for Clout?

Zagasm has quickly risen to internet stardom, with bold claims that users “can’t stop laughing” just seconds into opening it. The frenzy hit another level when a popular Twitter influencer tweeted, “Ten seconds into this app and you’re already laughing.” The post went viral, and the comments section was filled with people testifying to the statement, sharing their own screenshots and reactions.

But the big question remains: are people truly laughing, or is this just another case of influencers pushing hype?

Many users swear the fun is real, saying the memes and jokes on Zagasm are some of the funniest they’ve seen in a long time. Others, however, believe the rise of the app feels too fast and too polished to be natural — pointing out that social media marketing might be doing more of the work than the humor itself.

So, is Zagasm really the funniest app online, or is the joke actually on us?
