Following the sacking of Graham Potter, West Ham United have moved quickly to appoint Nuno Espírito Santo as their new manager. Reports from multiple sports news outlets, including The Guardian and The Standard, confirm that the former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest boss has agreed to take over at the London Stadium.

The appointment comes just a day after West Ham dismissed Potter following a dismal start to the 2025/26 Premier League season. The team is currently in 19th place after losing four of their first five league matches.

Nuno, who was most recently with Nottingham Forest, was sacked by the club earlier in September. He is known for his work at Wolves, where he led the team from the Championship to consecutive top-seven finishes in the Premier League and a run to the Europa League quarter-finals.

The new manager is expected to take charge of his first training session with the team soon and could be in the dugout for West Ham’s upcoming Premier League match against Everton.
